On Sunday, the yearly Lessons and Carols event will take place in the chapel. I've been asked by Mrs. Espinosa if I would like to join the ushers which I gladly accepted.
Basically, I have to lead people to their seats and collect offerings as well as hand out the programs for the night.
I believe this activity would enable me to become more people friendly and confident. It's going to make me feel good about myself; helping other people.
This activity will take place on Sunday, December 1 from 5:30-7:30P.M.
The supervisors are Mrs. Daoey and Mrs. Espinosa.

CAS Proposal #4 (White Coats)
White Coats is a small group that I am a part of that educates young children about science. Once a month on a Saturday, we teach an experiment to 20-30 kids and they have to perform it. The kids do most of the work and we are there supervising them and assisting them wherever we could.
My personal goals for this activity are to be able to become more comfortable working with young children, develop my leadership skills further, and become more team-oriented instead of working alone.
Where: School (Canteen/field/neutral)
When: One Saturday a month
Supervisor: Mr and Mrs. Busschaert

CAS Proposal #3 (Workout)
The activity I am planning to do is start working out. I'm already an active person but I'm not satisfied with my strength and my body. I'm fit and could run for long distances but I'm not pleased with how thin I am. My personal goals for this activity is to be able to see myself grow and to see myself get stronger not just physically but mentally as well. I worked out for a few weeks during summer so I already know how to use gym equipment and that sort of stuff, but what I could learn are strategies to become stronger. I could also learn diet plans and ways to become fitter. This activity is going to make me stronger after a few weeks of working out. This activity is also going to teach me how to endure long periods of pain and stiffness, especially since I'm already doing sports such as volleyball and football.
Where: The gym at my house.
When: Approximately every two days.
How long: 1-2 hours each workout and will end when I feel I am stronger and satisfied with myself.
Supervisor: n/a

Reflection to CAS Blog Proposal #2
This activity was about me creating cheers for Yellow House and being able to show others that I could be a leader. I was able to create three new cheers for Yellow House and I believe that it was a success. I was able to teach all of the cheers and movements to Yellow House and I was able to keep them focused and on task. Although Yellow House got second in the Cheers category, I still believe it was a success. Especially since it was my first time to ever create cheers and teach them to a large amount of people of varying ages.
When it came to the Pep Rally Day, I was nervous, I was worrying if I did a good job of teaching them or if they would do it right. When it was our turn to perform the cheers, I felt surprised and I could feel my heart beating inside my chest. Yellow House performed my cheers perfectly, it was enthusiastic and I could see everyone trying. It made me feel good that I was able to be a leader and teach them these cheers. It made me feel proud that these people actually looked up at me and listened to me. This activity taught me a lot about myself and what I'm capable of doing. Pep Rally was a special moment for me, to see everyone trying to win and beat the other houses. From this activity, I grew as a person. I learned that I'm a person who enjoys taking charge and telling people what to do. It's part of my personality. I have lots of leadership roles this year, I'm the class president, Captain of the Under-16 Football Team, Vice Captain of Yellow House, Vice Captain of the ISAC Football Team. This activity showed what I could do and showed me what kind of person I am. This could be applied throughout my whole life and the job that I would do in the future.

CAS Proposal #2
ACTIVITY #2: Pep Rally
As House leader for Yellow House, my main role this year was to create several new cheers for the house. I also have to be able to teach the cheers to my House and cooperate with my other House Leaders and House Head. My personal goals for this activity is to be able to know everyone better, I also want to demonstrate to everyone that I am a capable leader and able to take charge whenever need be.
CAS Proposal #1
ACTIVITY #1: Volleyball (Action)
One of my personal goals for this activity is to be able to look back and say that I've improved after my month of practicing every single day. Another goal is to get into the ISAC team and come back as a champion. I want to work better with others and be able to cooperate with others easier. I want to create better relationships with people which would help me as an individual. This activity is going to make me fitter and stronger than I was before. Not just physically but mentally as well. Volleyball started on the first day of school and we've had practice basically every single school day since then from 3:15 P.M until 5:30 P.M. Coach Roger Ngo is the adult supervisor during this activity.
